Hike up our nature trail- 20 minute walk along a brook. follow signs from the bath house.

Lamoille Valley rail trail - just 7 miles north in Hardwick.
At 93 miles long, the LVRT is the longest rail trail in New England and connects 18 towns from St. Johnsbury to Swanton.

leave right from the campgroind and get to know the area.

Go swimming-1 mile away- cranberry meadow pond see campground map
Mirror lake Swim and a Paddle- 4.6 miles away
Nichols ledge-10 miles -short hike to a great view

Visit the maple corner community store and whammy bar -4 miles away- head south down the county road. Live music and great food.
Barr Hill Natural area : 16 miles
Barr Hill is one of the highest points in Greensboro. From the open field at the trailhead, there is a stunning, nearly panoramic view that sweeps from Spruce and Signal Mountains at Groton State Park to the southern Green Mountains, Woodbury Mountain, Camel’s Hump, Elmore Mountain and Mount Mansfield.
Stop at Caspian Lake public swim area in Greensboro on the way back or pick up lunch at the willey's store.

Chickering Bog nature trail-9 miles away-Try this 2.1-mile out-and-back trail near Calais, Vermont. it takes an average of 49 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking. You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail. on your way back stop at the adamant coop store. the oldest continuously operating coop in america


Hike the North Branch cascades trail -13 miles away-Gorgeous and easy trail with numerous waterfall stops and swimming holes. If you head back south on Rt 12 turn rt at hancock brook rd for more cool swimming holes.

Visit  montpelier -14 miles away- head straight south on our road to  the capitol "city"of vermont.

Hike up spruce mountain- 21 miles away- Park and walk 2.2 miles up to an old fire tower with great views.


The grand lookout trail barre vt. -23 miles away-
From the trail head parking choose the grand look out trail for a unique stroll around old granite quarrys.
Stop at the vermont Granite Museum afterwards.


Stowe Auto Toll rd- 36 miles away -  this Scenic toll road let's you drive 4 miles up to the  ridgeline of Mount mansfield. You park at 3,850 feet and hike the long trail above treeline to the tallest point in vermont.
